About our shop

Our owner, Greg Rutherig, has been in design for over 40 years. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Merchandising and Design, Greg is ASID certified. His experience is broad and exceptional. He spent 10 years doing visual merchandising for Bullock’s (that was the “olden days”) before relocating to Carmel Valley. Greg has worked as an interior designer as Greg Rutherig Interiors for 35 years. He has wide experience with landscape and floral installations including planning and designing the wedding party for an Eisenhower granddaughter. Greg co-owned an upscale antique store in Pasadena for eight years which greatly enhanced his passion for antiques. He also managed the CVCC Benefit Shop for nine years putting it on the map as THE place to shop in Carmel Valley. Greg is passionate about consignment in a way that supports sustainability and affordability. He also continues to be available for design work. We hope you will join us as a shopper and/or consignor.
